What I'm Listening To...

I have been doing some traveling lately with work - so my Ipod has been busy. Here's a sampling of what I've been listening to...

Danyew - I was introduced to one of his songs at my friend Phil Earnest's wedding. His wife, Colleen walked down the aisle to "Beautiful King". I have since downloaded the entire EP -its really good!

Mat Kearney - Loved, loved his songs, "Nothing Left to Lose" and "Crashing Down".  I have downloaded songs from his newest - so far, so good!!

The Fray - My friend, Stephanie, turned me on to their first CD and it is still one of my faves.  Their new one is great too - love them!!

Kristian Stanfill - He was one of our worship leaders at the conference this year - not only does he (and his band) have an incredible CD, they have incredible hearts to go along with that!

So, what do I need to download to my Itunes that you recommend??

Happy Birthday Tracy!!!

So, wow - I don't think I have ever felt older than today - Tracy is 30.  30!!  Not in her 20's anymore - she is 30.  Unbelievable...
Here are my 30 loves of Tracy....

  3. She loves singing in the car
  4. She defends her family
  5. She doesn't like people in her business - although I want to get in her business - she hates that so much

  7. She is her own person - she doesn't let peoples opinions stop her
  8. She loves her job and is so great at it

  13. She loved my mawmaw more than anything - she was such a wonderful granddaughter
  14. She has done a great job at getting in shape and losing weight
  15. We had the best time playing and growing up together - we used to make up the dumbest songs as little girls
  16. She is a great daughter
  17. She loves to laugh
  18. She always loved hanging out with me and my friends - I hated it at the time - but now I am glad she did
  19. She is such a great sister - she is so good about calling all of us just to talk
  20. She wants to give people a better life and she gave two little ones a life they would have never had
  21. She is a great mommy

StadiumFest Part 6

Ok - this is my final post about StadiumFest (unless I get more photos that I have to share) - thanks for bearing with me :).  This post has photos some of our great staff and volunteers - there are a few staff members missing (couldn't find photos of them in action and many, many volunteers missing)!!

Me and my assistant Donna Smitherman - she and her husband Kelly are not only wonderful volunteers for our events but great friends to us as well.  This is the beginning of the day and we are all smiles!!
Kevin Derryberry and Phil from Internally Sound

Linda & Mike Greer -  Mike was so sick that day.  He had lost his voice and by the end of the night was running a fever...he never let up though.
Scottie Lenning and Courtney Dobbs - great merch girls!!
Holly McCarty and Hope Hill
Scottie and Tami Lenning
I love this shot of Rick
me, Ms. Gail and Tami...we're still smiling!!
Scott Lenning and Joey Hill checking out the action on stage
I love this shot of Billy Hatley - this little girl had just made a decision for Christ
Jim and Janie Howard and their grandson Jack - he came to see the Veggie Tales
Kim Beverage working those radios
the Scott's - Dawson and Lenning.  Lenning did a great job directing the event.
Kelly Smitherman (our stage manager) and Jonathan Lenning
former interns and back for more - Will "Bubba" Bowen and TJ Jones

and by the end of the night....I'm still smiling and celebrating a great event!!!

StadiumFest Part 5

More photos...

I love how God puts people together - this is Tarra Dawson (back to camera) and her daughter Hope (in hat).  Tarra counseled this little girl and her mom (the little girl was the same age as Hope).  Loved seeing the mom and daughters together.

This man accepted Christ at the Children's Stage - this was one of our favorite stories at the office.  He came down during the first invitation and his two sons came down at the second invitation.

Lenny the Lion (AKA David Johnson who calls in on the R & B show almost every morning)

The kids loved Bob the tomato - one wanted to know why he had legs and arms...he doesn't on the cartoon :)
