Mission of Hope Christmas

One of my favorite things to do during the Christmas season is toy giveaway at the Mission of Hope. The Mission is a great organization that feeds families throughout the year. They also do school supplies and the annual toy giveaway! This is my 7th year to do it and I love it just as much as I did the first time. This year they had around 180 kids. Each kid got a new coat, hat, gloves, shoes, and socks. They also received school supplies, old toys and new toys. Its a great organization that I am honored to help.

I worked the coat room this year. This room was full of new coats.

Alabama Theater

I got to go to the Alabama Theater with some of my family this holiday season. I had never been to the historic theater before and it was beautiful! We watched 'It's a Wonderful Life' - I had seen it a lot of times on tv - but it was so different watching it on the big screen. They had an organ that comes up from the floor and plays Christmas music and they also have a sing-along time. I will definitely go back next year. I had such a blast! Thanks Lori and Tim!

Surprise!!!!

My cousin, Zach, who is in the Marines and stationed in California decided to come home and surprise his mom (my cousin), Jennifer (aka Nin) for Christmas. It was a great surprise - and I was lucky enough to catch it all on video!!

Beams Family Christmas

Rockette's

I went to see the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular with my friend Rebecca and her daughter Emma. It was a great show! Its amazing how they stay in sync and with such precision - has to take lots and lots of practice! Great show - highly recommend it!
