Let's Go To The Movies....
As many movies as I have seen lately I could do a Movie Review Monday for another month...but instead of that, how about I sum them up into one post....
Shrek 4 - ahhh its ok. I have seen 1 and 2. I went with friends and they told me the 4th was the worse. Verdict - rent it.
Eclipse - very good. I read the books last summer and saw the first 2 movies. I liked it a lot. It was a lot like the book. I will probably hit the $1 movie up when it comes out there. Verdict - go see it!
A-Team - saw it this weekend. It was good, action packed and Bradley Cooper...enough said ;). I saw it at the $1 movie - I do not know if I would've felt good about spending $9.25 on it though. Good movie for $1. Verdict - see it.
Letters to Juliet - saw it this weekend. I have been wanting to see it since I saw the preview at the movies, but I just got the opportunity to see it at the $1 movies. I liked it a lot. Yes, it was a predictable chick flick - but it was a good one. Verdict - see it.
Inception - saw it this weekend - yes thats 3 movies in 3 days for me. I saw the previews and thought ok - lets try it - so we went and its long - 2.5 hours, intense, and you have to really pay attention. If you do not want to think and you want a mindless movie - don't go see it. I thought it was good though. I might go see it again - I think this is a movie you need to see twice to grasp it. Its a thinker. Verdict - go see it!

Where I Am Going...
Thought I would give you a little info on my trip to South Africa...
Nelspruit (pronounced /ˈnɛl.sprɛit/) or Mbombela is a city of 221,474 people (2000) situated in northeastern South Africa. It is the capital of the Mpumalanga province (formerly EasternTransvaal). Located on the Crocodile River, Nelspruit lies about 100 kilometres (60 miles) west of the Mozambique border and 330 kilometres (205 miles) east of Johannesburg. The townships of Nelspruit are Kanyamazane and Matsulu which are tens of kilometres east of Nelspruit. There are many orange farms in the area around Nelspruit. It is a key manufacturing and agricultural hub for northeastern South Africa. Major industries include the canning of citrus fruit, paper production, furniture manufacture and timbermills. Fertile soils and subtropical climate provide perfect conditions for the growing of citrus and tropical fruits, mainly mango, banana, avocado and Macadamia nuts.
Nelspruit is a major stopover point for tourists travelling to the Kruger National Park (fyi - we do have plans to make a trip to the National Park!!!!!!) and to Mozambique. Tourists from Mozambique also stimulate the economy of the city significantly. Many people from Mozambique and Swaziland travel to Nelspruit for their monthly grocery shopping. Nelspruit is home to Emnotweni casino situated on the way to Whiteriver.
A new football (soccer) stadium was built in Nelspruit for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Finished in November 2009, it was named Mbombela Stadium and has a capacity of 45,000. 1.05 billion rand was spent on the construction of the stadium which will host four 2010 FIFA World Cup matches.
Weather - average high in August will be 77 (its the winter time there) and low will be 48.

Any tips???
I started shopping for my Africa essentials yesterday...new pajamas, and an "airplane pillow" - Check! Still have lots to buy though....enough of the shopping talk though...
The reason I am writing is - I have never flown for over 3 hours...this flight is 16 hours! Wow! Any suggestions for the long flight? Any tips on sleeping (do I take meds or not?), what should I bring other than iPod, books, magazines?
I need advice!!

30 days and counting...
I realized last night that I am a month away from leaving for Africa. CRAZY!! I have so much to do before I go (get shots, go buy adapters for my lap top, hair dryer, shop for clothes, buy books for the long flight, etc). But the most important thing I have to do is get myself spiritually prepared for my journey. I have a ton going on in the next month and I do not want to be so super busy with stuff that I forget the main reason why I am going - to see the lost come to know HIM.
