Branson

I took a trip to Branson, MO for work last weekend.  I had been there before but it was a very quick trip (less than 24 hours).  This time I stayed 36 hours :)! We are doing a conference there next year and I was there for a site visit.  It was a lot of fun.

It was Christmastime - they begin on November 1.  So, we saw lots of Christmas lights.

 

 

We went to Silver Dollar City....

I had a footlong corndog

and a funnel cake!

There was a tree there that changed lights with the music.

It had over 1 million lights

I also toured hotels (since I was working)...this is a gingerbread house in one hotel

and here is Santa hanging around...

We also went and saw a Tony Orlando concert...I had no clue who he was - but he and I became fast friends :)

The Lennon Sisters were there too and they sang for us (I'll post that video later)

Of course you always see lots of ahem...interesting things in Branson....

Overall it was a great time (even if I was working)!
